Your friends including Hattie, Ellena, Lacey, Leif, Brayden, Aidan, Camille, Ian, Cayla, Julia, Mattlend, Gavin, Mattland, Alexis, and many more will be in the band performing. The eighth grade band will present after the High School band, followed by the seventh grade and sixth grade bands.
Some of the melodious songs include: "A Day in a Life", "Prelude and Firestorm,"Zia" and "Ghosts of the Lost Ship." Each piece has its own unique sound and tempo. You can picture different images, if you listen closely. "A Day in a Life" represents someone driving through traffic in a busy city, like Los Angeles or Boston, and the rest of the song progresses based on what happens on the way through traffic. "Prelude and Firestorm" initially represents a peaceful and happy time. Then random people creating firestorms in houses and making the whole scene disturbing, but exciting, at the same time. "Zia" is a calm and peaceful song about a man or woman sitting on a hill, under a tree, playing a wooden flute near the Zia Pueblo Indian tribes and you can hear them celebrating with music, maracas, and tribal drums."Ghosts of the Lost Ship" is a song that tells a story of ghosts and pirates that still haunt the seas.
